PENANJONG, Sunday, 03 September 2023 – Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) organised a Family Day event in conjunction with school term holiday and 61st anniversary of the RBLF, held at Kampong Penanjong Beach.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Baharuddin bin Pengiran Haji Ali, Commanding Officer of 2Bn RBLF. Also present were the Deputy Commanding Officer of 2Bn RBLF, officers, and personnel of 2Bn RBLF together with their respective family members.
The event commenced with a group photo session, followed by a Zumba exercise, walkathon, and beach clean-up campaign. The event continued with the presentation of prizes to the children of 2Bn RBLF who had excellent results in their school exams and to the winners of the school holiday activities. Other activities included booth games and fun fair activities organised by the respective companies under 2Bn RBLF.
The event was held to show appreciation to the families of 2Bn RBLF officers and personnel for their support, encouragement, and enthusiasm. It also aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and environmental cleanliness, as well as to celebrate the achievements of the children of 2Bn RBLF personnel.
BATALION KEDUA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI ANJURKAN SAMBUTAN HARI KELUARGA
PENANJONG, Ahad, 03 September 2023 – Batalion Kedua Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (2Bn TDDB) telah mengadakan sambutan Hari Keluarga sempena cuti penggal persekolahan dan ulang tahun TDDB ke-61 bertempat di Pantai Kampong Penanjong.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Leftenan Kolonel Pengiran Baharuddin bin Pengiran Haji Ali, Pegawai Pemerintah 2Bn TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Timbalan Pegawai Pemerintah 2Bn TDDB, pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota 2Bn TDDB bersama ahli keluarga masing-masing.
Acara pada hari tersebut dimulakan dengan sesi bergambar ramai, aktiviti Zumba, walkathon, dan diteruskan dengan kempen membersihkan pantai. Acara kemudian disambung dengan penyampaian hadiah kepada anak-anak warga 2Bn TDDB yang mendapat keputusan cemerlang dan diteruskan dengan penyampaian hadiah kepada pemenang-pemenang bagi aktiviti-aktiviti semasa cuti persekolahan. Aktiviti-aktiviti lain yang dianjurkan oleh setiap kompeni 2Bn TDDB juga turut diadakan pada hari tersebut sepert permainan booth dan aktiviti fun fair serta pelbagai bazaar makanan.
Aktiviti ini adalah sebagai salah satu penghargaan kepada ahli keluarga 2Bn TDDB yang sentiasa memberi sokongan, dorongan dan semangat. Di samping itu, ia adalah untuk meluangkan masa bersama keluarga semasa penggal percutian persekolahan sambil mempromosikan gaya hidup sihat dan menjaga kebersihan alam persekitaran serta dalam sama-sama meraikan anak-anak warga 2Bn TDDB yang memperoleh keputusan cemerlang.
