PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 17 March 2023 – Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) conducted Exercise Helang Bersatu, which involves the deployment of Heliborne Company 3Bn RBLF supported by 11 Squadron, Royal Brunei Air Force and Special Forces Regiment (SFR RBAF).
The exercise consisted of troop insertion through air deployment and fast roping at three different locations at the Fighting in Built-Up Areas (FIBUA) complex, Penanjong Garrison. The training objective of the exercise is for the familiarisation and enhancement of Heliborne Company for air insertions and to be prepared for rapid deployment in supporting troops on the ground.
The exercise aims to ensure that RBLF personnel will always be ready and capable of deploying rapidly, especially for the newly established Heliborne Company of the Combined Arms Battalion. In addition, the exercise also aims to enhance interoperability between Land Force components and other components during operation.
BATALION KETIGA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI MELAKSANAKAN EKSESAIS HELANG BERSATU
PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 17 Mac 2023 – Batalion Ketiga Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (3Bn TDDB) telah melaksanakan Eksesais HELANG BERSATU, yang melibatkan Kompeni Heliborne 3Bn TDDB, Skuadron 11 dari Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei dan Regimen Pasukan Khas (RPK ABDB).
Eksesais tersebut merangkumi kemasukan pasukan melalui laluan udara dan penurunan Fast Roping di tiga lokasi yang berlainan di kawasan Kompleks Fighting in Buit-Up Areas (FIBUA), Penanjong Garison. Objektif latihan ini adalah untuk membiasakan dan mempertingkatkan Kompeni Heliborne untuk kemasukan udara dan bersedia untuk deploimen pantas dalam memberi bantuan kepada anggota di darat.
Eksesais ini bertujuan untuk memastikan anggota TDDB sentiasa bersedia dan berkeupayaan untuk bergerak dengan pantas, terutamanya bagi Kompeni Heliborne, Combined Arms Battalion yang baru ditubuhkan. Selain itu, eksesais ini juga bertujuan untuk memperhalusi kecekapan dan kerjasama antara komponen Tentera Darat dan komponen luar semasa operasi.
