TUTONG CAMP, Friday, 5th December 2025 – A total of 162 Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) personnel from the 177th recruit intake have completed the Advanced Infantry Course, with a closing event held at Ar-Rizqi Hall, Second Battalion, Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF) in Tutong Camp. In attendance to officiate the closing was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammed Airul Wizam bin Haji Ahmad, Acting Field Commander of the RBLF, along with Commanding Officers and Acting Commanding Officers, Regimental Sergeant Majors, and course instructors.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, and Surah Al-Anfal verses 1–6, from the course representative, Private Abdurrahman bin Haji Mohammed Azmi. This was followed by a course review from Major Mohd Rahimin bin Haji Ahmad, as the Course Conducting Officer and it was then proceeded with the presentation of certificates and awards to the participants. Private Muhammad Haziq Izzat bin Haji A. Matali from the Royal Guard Regiment was awarded the Best Overall Student as well as Best Practical Performance, and Private Mohammad Qamarul Muslim Fadlullah bin Mohammad Bakhtiar from the First Battalion (1Bn) RBLF received the award for Best in Theoretical Knowledge. Meanwhile, Private Dazrran bin Dahlan of 1Bn RBLF was given the Best Physical Training Participant, and Lance Corporal Suhaili bin Bujang of 2Bn RBLF received the Best Instructor Award. The event concluded with a closing remark from the Acting Field Commander of the RBLF, followed by a closing Doa, and a group photo session.
The AIC aims to elevate the tactical proficiency, leadership ability, and specialised skill set of experienced Junior Non-Commissioned Officers within an infantry unit. It focuses on preparing them to command and manage small-unit actions, land-based tactical operations, and specialised tasks beyond the basic infantry level.
162 ANGGOTA TAMAT KURSUS LANJUTAN INFANTRI
PERKHEMAHAN TUTONG, Jumaat, 5 Disember 2025 – Seramai 162 anggota Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) lepasan rekrut pengambilan ke-177 telah menamatkan Kursus Lanjutan Infantri, dengan acara penutup diadakan di Dewan Ar-Rizqi, Batalion Kedua (2Bn) TDDB di Perkhemahan Tutong. Hadir bagi menyempurkan acara penutup ialah Leftenan Kolonel Haji Mohammed Airul Wizam bin Haji Ahmad, Pemangku Pemerintah Medan TDDB, bersama Pegawai-pegawai Pemerintah dan Pemangku Pegawai Pemerintah, Rejimen Sarjan Mejar, serta jurulatih kursus.
Acara dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan Surah Al-Anfal ayat 1 hingga 6 yang dibacakan oleh wakil peserta kursus, Soldadu Abdurrahman bin Haji Mohammed Azmi. Ini diikuti dengan ulasan pencapaian kursus daripada Mejar Mohd Rahimin bin Haji Ahmad, selaku Pegawai Pengendali Kursus, dan kemudiannya diteruskan dengan penyampaian sijil dan anugerah kepada para peserta. Soldadu Muhammad Haziq Izzat bin Haji A. Matali dari Rejimen Pengawal Diraja telah dianugerahkan sebagai Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan serta Terbaik Amali, dan Soldadu Mohammad Qamarul Muslim Fadlullah bin Mohammad Bakhtiar dari Batalion Pertama (1Bn) TDDB menerima anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Teori. Sementara itu, Soldadu Dazrran bin Dahlan dari 1Bn TDDB telah dianugerahkan sebagai Penuntut Terbaik Jasmani, dan Lans Koperal Suhaili bin Bujang dari 2Bn TDDB menerima anugerah Jurulatih Terbaik. Acara diakhiri dengan ucapan penutup daripada Pemangku Pemerintah Medan TDDB, diikuti dengan Doa penutup dan sesi bergambar ramai.
Kursus Lanjutan Infantri ini adalah bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kecekapan taktikal, keupayaan kepimpinan, dan set kemahiran khusus bagi Pegawai Tidak Bertauliah Rendah yang berpengalaman dalam unit infantri. Ianya memberi tumpuan kepada penyediaan peserta kursus untuk memerintah dan mengurus tindakan unit kecil, operasi taktikal darat dan tugas khusus di luar peringkat infantri asas.
