BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 31st October 2024 – Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), received an introductory call from Commodore Javed Iqbal Khan Niazi, the Non-Resident Defence Adviser of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan accredited to Brunei Darussalam. Also present was the Acting Chief of Staff, RBLF.
During the call, the Commander of the RBLF congratulated Commodore Javed on his new appointment as the Defence Adviser of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan based in Malaysia, and accredited to Brunei Darussalam since 16 October 2024. He expressed his appreciation for the close and warmth defence relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and confident that the bilateral defence relations will continue to strengthen in the coming years.
PEMERINTAH TDDB MENERIMA KUNJUNGAN PENGENALAN DARIPADA PENASIHAT PERTAHANAN TIDAK MENETAP REPUBLIK ISLAM PAKISTAN YANG DIAKREDITASIKAN KE NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
BERAKAS GARISON, Khamis, 31 Oktober 2024 – Brigedier Jeneral Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah menerima kunjungan pengenalan daripada Komodor Javed Iqbal Khan Niazi, Penasihat Pertahanan Tidak Menetap Republik Islam Pakistan yang diakreditasikan ke Negara Brunei Darussalam. Turut hadir ialah Pemangku Ketua Staf TDDB.
Semasa kunjungan tersebut, Pemerintah TDDB mengucapkan tahniah kepada Komodor Javed atas pelantikannya sebagai Penasihat Pertahanan Republik Islam Pakistan di Malaysia, dan diakreditasikan ke Negara Brunei Darussalam sejak 16 Oktober 2024. Beliau merakamkan penghargaan atas hubungan pertahanan yang erat dan mesra antara Negara Brunei Darussalam dan Republik Islam Pakistan dan yakin hubungan pertahanan dua hala akan terus kukuh pada tahun-tahun akan datang.
