PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 4th October 2024 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held a closing event for the Basic, Intermediate and Advance Special Task Platoon (STP) Course 2024 at the Field Firing Area, Binturan Range, Penanjong Garrison, conducted by Third Battalion (3Bn) RBLF. A total of 33 participants from RBLF combat units had participated in the course conducted from 5th August 2024 until 4th October 2024. Present to officiate the closing was Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of RBLF.
The event commenced with a course review from Major Pengiran Haji Abdul Malik bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Azmansham, the Course Conducting Officer before proceeded with a strike and rescue demonstration utilising live rounds by the course participants. The RBLF Commander then presented the badges and certificates to the course members. In his closing remarks, he highlighted the important role of the STP and emphasised for every member of the platoon to continue to hone their military skills and competencies in order to maintain a high level of preparedness in carrying out their various roles and duties.
The Best Overall Student for the Basic STP Course was awarded to Private Mohamad Ridwan bin Haji Awang Ismail from 3Bn RBLF, the Intermediate STP Course to Private Mohamad Naiim bin Mohamad Shafie from Second Battalion (2Bn) RBLF and the Advance STP Course to Lance Corporal Hamisham bin Mahmud from First Battalion (1Bn) RBLF. Meanwhile, the Best Physical Fitness Award went to Lieutenant Aabed Zul-Fadhlee bin Haji Abdul Hamid from 1Bn RBLF and the Best Practical Award to Private Rafe’e bin Mohaimin from 2Bn RBLF.
ACARA PENUTUP KURSUS ASAS, PERTENGAHAN DAN LANJUTAN PLATUN GERAK KHAS 2024
PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 04 Oktober 2024 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah mengadakan Acara Penutup Kursus Asas, Pertengahan dan Lanjutan Platun Gerak Khas (PGK) Sesi 2024 bertempat di kawasan Lapang Sasar, Padang Tembak Binturan, Penanjong Garison, yang dikendalikan oleh Batalion Ketiga TDDB. Seramai 33 peserta kursus dari unit-unit kombat TDDB telah mengikuti kursus tersebut bermula dari 5 Ogos 2024 hingga 4 Oktober 2024. Hadir merasmikan penutupan ialah Brigedier Jeneral Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Pemerintah TDDB.
Acara dimulakan dengan ulasan kursus yang disampaikan oleh Mejar Pengiran Haji Abdul Malik bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Azmansham, Pegawai Pengendali Kursus, sebelum diteruskan dengan demonstrasi menyerang dan menyelamat menggunakan peluru hidup oleh peserta kursus. Pemerintah TDDB kemudiannya menyampaikan lencana dan sijil kepada ahli kursus. Dalam ucapan penutupnya, beliau menyatakan peranan penting STP dan menekankan agar setiap anggota platun untuk terus mengasah kemahiran dan kecekapan ketenteraan bagi mengekalkan tahap kesiapsiagaan yang tinggi dalam menjalankan pelbagai peranan dan tugas mereka.
Pelajar Terbaik Keseluruhan bagi Kursus Asas PGK diberikan kepada Soldadu Mohamad Ridwan bin Haji Awang Ismail daripada 3Bn TDDB, Kursus Pertengahan PGK kepada Soldadu Mohamad Naiim bin Mohamad Shafie daripada Batalion Kedua (2Bn) TDDB dan Kursus Lanjutan PGK kepada Lans Koperal Hamisham bin Mahmud daripada Batalion Pertama (1Bn) TDDB. Sementara itu, anugerah Terbaik Latihan Jasmani disandang oleh oleh Leftenan Aabed Zul-Fadhlee bin Haji Abdul Hamid dari 1Bn TDDB dan anugerah Terbaik Latihan Amali oleh Soldadu Rafe’e bin Mohaimin daripada 2Bn TDDB.
