PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 24th July 2026 – The closing ceremony for the Intermediate Communication Information System was held at the School of Signal, Combined Armed Training Centre, Royal Brunei Land Forces (CATC RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. A total of 27 participants have completed the course, comprising 18 personnel from the RBLF, seven personnel from the Royal Brunei Air Force and two personnel from the Gurkha Security Unit, which took place from 04th May 2026 to 24th July 2026. Present to officiate the ceremony was Captain Abdul Hakim bin Haji Shahrum, Officer Commanding of the School of Signal, CATC RBLF.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and continued with a course review from Sergeant Muhamad Yamin bin Haji Yakob, the course conductor. The event then proceeded with closing remarks from the Officer Commanding School of Signal, followed by the certificate presentation and awards. The Best Overall Student and Best Theory awards were presented to Lance Corporal Muhammad Abbasy Rafiuddin bin Muhammad Mashor, while the Best Practical Exercise Student awards were presented to Private Nuwair Firdaus Fatthurrahman @ Awadullah Sani Firdaus bin Besar, both from the Combat Service Support RBLF.
The course is a continuation of the Basic Communication Information System Course previously attended by the participants, which aimed to upgrade personnel’s technical knowledge, tactical communication skills, and proficiency in managing information networks.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS PERTENGAHAN PERHUBUNGAN SISTEM MAKLUMAT
PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 24 Julai 2026 – Majlis Penutup bagi Kursus Pertengahan Perhubungan Sistem Maklumat telah berlangsung di Sekolah Semboyan, Pusat Latihan Gabungan Tempur, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (PULGAT TDDB), Penanjong Garison. Seramai 27 peserta telah menghadiri kursus tersebut yang terdiri daripada 18 anggota TDDB, tujuh anggota dari Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei dan dua anggota daripada Pasukan Sekuriti Gurkha yang berlangsung dari 4 Mei 2026 hingga 24 Julai 2026. Hadir bagi menyempurnakan majlis penutup ialah Kapten Abdul Hakim bin Haji Shahrum, Pegawai Memerintah Sekolah Semboyan, PULGAT TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diteruskan dengan ulasan kursus daripada Pengendali Kursus iaitu Sarjan Muhamad Yamin bin Haji Yakob. Acara kemudiannya diteruskan dengan ucapan dari Pegawai Memerintah Sekolah Semboyan disusuli dengan penyampaian sijil dan anugerah. Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan dan Teori telah disandang oleh Lans Koperal Muhammad Abbasy Rafiuddin bin Muhammad Mashor, manakala Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Amali telah disandang oleh Soldadu Nuwair Firdaus Fatthurrahman @ Awadullah Sani Firdaus bin Besar, kedua-duanya dari Khidmat Bantuan Kombat TDDB.
Kursus ini adalah sebagai kesinambungan daripada Kursus Asas Perhubungan Sistem Maklumat yang telah dihadiri oleh para peserta sebelum ini, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan teknikal, kemahiran komunikasi taktikal, serta kecekapan anggota dalam menguruskan rangkaian maklumat.
