BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 24 September 2026 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held an event for the handover of 16 Light Strike Vehicles (LSVs) to respective RBLF units at the 1Bn RBLF Parade Square, Berakas Garrison, today. Present at the event was the RBLF Commander, Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan. Also in attendance was Acting Deputy Commander RBLF, Senior Officers and officers of RBLF.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the officiating of the new LSVs and a prayer led by Lieutenant Colonel Ariffin bin Amit @ Hamid, Head of Religious Affairs RBLF, towards the safety and protection of personnel during the conduct of their duties. The handover of the LSVs aims to enhance the operational mobility and capabilities of the RBLF, supporting the RBLF’s readiness and responsiveness in carrying out its operational tasks.
TDDB MENERIMA 16 BUAH LIGHT STRIKE VEHICLES (LSV)
BERAKAS GARISON, Khamis, 24 September 2026 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah mengadakan majlis penyerahan 16 buah Light Strike Vehicles (LSV) kepada unit-unit TDDB bertempat di Padang Kawad 1Bn TDDB, Berakas Garison, hari ini. Hadir pada majlis tersebut ialah Pemerintah TDDB, Brigedier Jeneral Aldi bin Haji Hassan. Turut hadir ialah Pemangku Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan dan pegawai-pegawai TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan perasmian LSV baharu dan bacaan doa yang dipimpin oleh Leftenan Kolonel Ariffin bin Amit @ Hamid, Ketua Agama TDDB, bagi memohon keselamatan dan perlindungan anggota semasa menjalankan tugas. Penyerahan LSV tersebut bertujuan untuk memperkukuhkan mobiliti dan keupayaan operasi TDDB, serta menyokong kesiapsiagaan dan keupayaan tindak balas TDDB dalam melaksanakan tugas-tugas operasi.
