BERAKAS GARRISON, Monday 16 September 2019 - The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) received a visit from Lieutenant General Macairog S. Alberto, Commanding General, Philippine Army (CGPA) at the RBLF Headquarters, Berakas Garrison as part of his Introductory Visit to Brunei Darussalam from 15 September to 17 September 2019.
Upon arrival at the RBLF Headquarters, the Commanding General, Philippine Army was received by Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Commander of the RBLF, followed by the inspection of the Guard of Honour mounted by the personnel of Second Battalion RBLF.
Lieutenant General Macairog S. Alberto then proceeded with his courtesy call to the Commander of the RBLF. During the courtesy call, both highlighted the close defence relations between the two countries through exchange of visits and courses and discussed on other avenues of cooperation.
As part of his visit programme, Lieutenant General Macairog S. Alberto had courtesy calls with The Honourable Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof, Second Minister of Defence and Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) at the Ministry of Defence.
Lieutenant General Macairog S. Alberto also had the opportunity to visit various places throughout his visit such as the RBAF Museum, FIBUA Village and RBAF Simulation Training Centre.
An official dinner hosted by the Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force was also held at the Officers’ Mess, Berakas Garrison. The dinner was attended by the Commandant of Training Institute, senior officers and officers of RBLF and their respective spouses.
Lieutenant General Macairog S. Alberto was appointed as Commanding General, Philippine Army on 15 October 2018.
KUNJUNGAN PENGENALAN DARIPADA

Commanding General, Philippine Army bertempat di Markas TDDB, Berakas Garison, yang mengadakan kunjungan pengenalan ke Negara Brunei Darussalam bermula 15 September 2019 hingga 17 September 2019.
Sejurus tiba di Markas TDDB, Leftenan Jeneral Macairog S. Alberto,
Commanding General, Philippine Army menerima tabik hormat dan seterusnya memeriksa Perbarisan Kawalan Kehormatan yang terdiri daripada anggota Batalion Kedua TDDB.
Selepas memeriksa perbarisan, Leftenan Jeneral Macairog S. Alberto,
Commanding General, Philippine Army membuat Kunjungan Muhibbah kepada Yang Mulia Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Pemerintah TDDB.
Semasa kunjungan muhibbah tersebut, Pemerintah TDDB dan
Commanding General, Philippine Army membincangkan tentang kerjasama yang terjalin khususnya didalam bidang pertahanan dan perkembangan positif dalam hubungan pertahanan dua hala antara kedua buah negara melalui pertukaran lawatan, mesyuarat, latihan dan kursus.
Leftenan Jeneral Macairog S. Alberto juga berkesempatan untuk membuat Kunjungan Hormat kepada Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Mejar Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof, Menteri Pertahanan Kedua dan Yang Mulia Mejar Jeneral Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) di Kementerian Pertahanan.
Diantara aturcara semasa lawatan tersebut, Leftenan Jeneral Macairog S. Alberto juga berkesempatan untuk membuat lawatan ke Muzium ABDB, Perkampungan FIBUA dan Pusat Latihan Simulasi ABDB.
Bagi mengalu-alukan kedatangan Leftenan Jeneral Macairog S. Alberto, Majlis Makan Malam juga telah diadakan di Mes Pegawai, Berakas Garison yang dihoskan oleh Pemerintah TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Komandan Institut Latihan, Pegawai-Pegawai Kanan serta Pegawai-pegawai bersama para isteri-isteri.
Yang Mulia Leftenan Jeneral Macairog S. Alberto telah dilantik menjadi
Commanding General, Philippine Army pada 15 Oktober 2018.
