BERAKAS GARISON, TUESDAY 09 APRIL 2019 – The Closing Ceremony of the Combat Medic Course 2019 took place at First Battalion Cookhouse, Berakas Garison. The course took place from 01 February 2019 until 09 April 2019. A total of 29 personnel participated in the course conducted by Training Wing, Medical Services, Combat Service Support.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel (Dr) Haji Awg Hafizul bin Haji Awg Muhd Hassan, Chief Medical Officer of the Medical Services, Combat Service Support. Also present at the event were Officers from the First, Second and Third Battalions as well as Support Battalion, Combat Service Support, Special Forces RBAF and Course Instructors.
The Overall Best Student was awarded to Private Ermy Shahromzie bin Musa from the Medical Services, CSS RBLF. Lance Corporal Mohammad Khairul Azwan bin Abd Hamid from First Battalion won the Best Theory award and the Best Practical award was awarded to Lance Corporal Muhammad Abdul Azim bin Abd Wahab from Third Battalion.
Throughout the course, participants were taught skills and procedures required during military operations such as Basic Life Support, Basic Patient Assessment, Triage and Clinical Knowledge. The participants were also given the opportunity to do placement within the MRS Clinics as an early exposure to actual medical cases. As part of the training programme was Exercise PANTAI MERAH where course participants were tested on their skills, knowledge as well as physical and mental strength to prepare them to be a well-skilled Combat Medic.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS KOMBAT MEDIK 2019
BERAKAS GARISON, SELASA 09 APRIL 2019 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Kombat Medik 2019 telah berlangsung bertempat di Rumah Masak Batalion Pertama, Berakas Garison. Kursus tersebut dikendalikan dari 01 Feb 2019 hingga 09 April 2019. Seramai 29 peserta menghadiri kursus yang dikendalikan oleh Cawangan Latihan Perubatan, Khidmat Perubatan dan Kesihatan, Khidmat Bantuan Kombat (KPK, KBK TDDB).
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat Majlis ialah Yang Mulia Kolonel (Dr) Haji Awg Hafizul bin Haji Awg Muhd Hassan, Ketua Pegawai Perubatan, KPK, KBK TDDB. Turut hadir pada majlis tersebut ialah Pegawai-pegawai Latihan dari Batalion Pertama, Kedua, Ketiga dan Bantu, Khidmat Bantuan Kombat, Rejimen Pasukan Khas, PTB-PTB Kanan dan PTB Rendah serta Jurulatih-jurulatih Kursus.
Penuntut terbaik keseluruhan telah disandang oleh Soldadu Ermy Shahromzie bin Musa dari Unit Khidmat Perubatan & Kesihatan, KBK TDDB. Lans Koperal Mohammad Khairul Azwan bin Abd Hamid dari Batalion Pertama telah meraih Penuntut Terbaik dalam bahagian Teori. Penuntut Terbaik dalam bahagian Praktikal pula disandang oleh Lans Koperal Muhammad Abdul Azim bin Abd Wahab dari Batalion Ketiga.
