TUTONG CAMP, Thursday 28 March 2019 – The closing ceremony for the Tactical Exercise Without Troop on Combat Service Support (CSS TEWT) conducted by the Logistic Depot, Combat Service Support was held at Second Battalion Football Field A, Tutong Camp.
Present as the guest of honour was Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force. Also present at the closing ceremony were Royal Brunei Land Force senior officers and other invited guests.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and followed by presentations of the planned operations by selected syndicates. Throughout the exercise, an A Echelon by 2Bn RBLF was set up in the camp whereby students were given the opportunity to have a tour at the base and conduct their military appreciation planning as part of the combat service support operations. An overall review of the participants’ performances during the TEWT was also shared by Major Pg Hj Nazri Amir bin Pg Dato Paduka Haji Md Zain, the Head of the Organising Committee for this year’s CSS TEWT.
The ceremony concluded with a closing remark by the Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force in which he highlighted the importance of combat service support (or military logistics concept) in battlefield operations.
This year’s TEWT focused more on CSS operations in supporting the Fighting Echelon, at a location along the vicinity of Tunggulian and area of Tutong Camp.
MAJLIS PENUTUP LATIHAN TAKTIKAL TANPA TRUP KHIDMAT BANTUAN KOMBAT
PERKHEMAHAN TUTONG, Khamis, 28 Mac 2019 – Majlis Penutup Hari Belajar Latihan Taktikal Tanpa Trup (TEWT) peringkat Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) Siri 4/2018 yang dikendalikan oleh unit Depoh Logistik, Khidmat Bantuan Kombat TDDB telahpun dilaksanakan di Padang Bola A Batalion Kedua, Perkhemahan Tutong.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat adalah Yang Mulia Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei. Turut hadir ke majlis berkenaan ialah Pegawai-Pegawai Kanan Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei dan jemputan khas.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diteruskan dengan penyampaian rancangan operasi dari sindiket yang terpilih. Seterusnya, Yang Mulia Mejar Pg Hj Nazri Amir bin Pg Dato Paduka Haji Md Zain selaku Pegawai Pengendali memberikan kata-kata secara keseluruhan latihan ini. Majlis diakhiri dengan ucapan penutup dari tetamu kehormat, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei. TEWT kali ini lebih berkonsepkan kepada operasi bantuan kombat (atau logistik ketenteraan) daripada unit-unit Khidmat Bantuan Kombat kepada unit-unit di Barisan Hadapan
(Fighting Echelon) semasa operasi peperangan di salah satu lokasi di antara kawasan Tunggulian dan juga kawasan Perkhemahan Tutong.
