BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 19 May 2021 – Brigadier General Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) participated in the Indo-Pacific Landpower Conference (ILPC) hosted by the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) that was held virtually from 19 May until 20 May 2021 at the RBLF Headquarters.
Also present at the conference were Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohd Norfahssin bin Haji Abdul Karim, Head of Inspectorate Unit RBLF and Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Roasri Erwan bin Haji Tasrif, Assistant Chief of Staff Operation RBLF.
With the theme “Preserving a Free and Open Indo-Pacific through Strength and Preparedness”, the conference took place over a two-day period and officiated with opening remarks from General Paul J. LaCamera, Commanding General USARPAC. The conference focused on discussions on security challenges in the Indo-Pacific as well as the land component role in information operations which was moderated by keynote speakers and panel of experts from various military and civilian organisations.
The conference serves to be a credible platform for the sharing of knowledge, exchange of views and best practices between allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
PEMERINTAH TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI SERTAI INDO-PACIFIC LANDPOWER CONFERENCE SECARA TALIAN
BERAKAS GARISON, Rabu, 19 Mei 2021 – Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), Brigedier Jeneral Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan telah menghadiri persidangan Indo-Pacific Landpower Conference (ILPC) yang dihoskan oleh United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) secara talian bermula 19 Mei 2021 hingga 20 Mei 2021 bertempat di Markas TDDB.
Juga hadir di persidangan tersebut ialah Leftenan Kolonel Haji Mohd Norfahssin bin Haji Abdul Karim, Ketua Unit Inspektorat TDDB dan Leftenan Kolonel Mohammad Roasri Erwan bin Haji Tasrif, Penolong Ketua Staf Gerakan TDDB.
Dengan topik perbincangan yang bertemakan “Preserving a Free and Open Indo-Pacific through Strength and Preparedness”, persidangan yang berlangsung selama 2 hari tersebut dimulakan dengan ucapan alu-aluan dari Jeneral Paul J. LaCamera, Commanding General USARPAC. Sepanjang persidangan, sesi perbincangan tertumpu kepada cabaran sekuriti di negara-negara Indo-Pasifik serta peranan komponen darat dalam operasi maklumat yang telah disampaikan oleh moderator dari penyampai utama dan panel pakar dari pelbagai organisasi tentera dan awam.
Persidangan ini berfungsi sebagai platform yang berkredibiliti untuk perkongsian pengetahuan, pertukaran pandangan dan amalan terbaik antara sekutu dan rakan kongsi di rantau Indo-Pasifik.
