BERAKAS GARISSON, Wednesday, 07 April 2021– First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (1Bn RBLF) held a ceremony for the presentation of the General Service Medal (GSM) to 106 personnel of Intake 165 and Intake 166 at the Cookhouse 1Bn RBLF, Berakas Garrison.
Present as the guest of honour was Major Norranellwi bin Siaran, Deputy Commanding Officer of 1Bn RBLF. Also present at the ceremony were Officers Commanding, Officers and Senior Ranks personnel of 1Bn RBLF.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the presentation of GSM and concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat. The ceremony was held to appreciate and acknowledge their hard work and sacrifices in joining the military as their chosen career paths. It also serves as a morale boost for the personnel to always strive for the best and to maximise their efforts in their respective careers.
MAJLIS PENYAMPAIAN PINGAT LAILA TUGAS BAGI ANGGOTA BATALION PERTAMA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
BERAKAS GARISON, Rabu, 07 April 2021 – Batalion Pertama Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (1Bn TDDB) telah mengadakan majlis penyampaian Pingat Laila Tugas bagi 106 anggota daripada Intek 165 dan Intek 166 bertempat di Dewan Makan 1Bn TDDB.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat ialah Yang Mulia Mejar Norranellwi bin Siaran, Timbalan Pegawai Pemerintah 1Bn TDDB. Turut menyaksikan upacara tersebut adalah Pegawai-pegawai Memerintah Kompeni, Pegawai-pegawai dan PTB-PTB Kanan 1Bn TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diteruskan dengan upacara penyampaian Pingat Laila Tugas. Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan doa selamat dan bersurai. Tujuan majlis ini diadakan adalah untuk memberi penghormatan serta pengiktirafan di atas usaha dan pengorbanan mereka dalam menceburi bidang ketenteraan sebagai kerjaya mereka. Ianya juga menjadi penyuntik semangat kepada anggota-anggota untuk meningkatkan usaha agar sentiasa lebih tekun dan gigih dalam menjalankan tugas.
