VIETNAM, Friday, 11 November 2022 – The closing ceremony of the 30th ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) took place today at the National Military Training Centre 4, Republic Socialist Vietnam. Simultaneously, the 23rd ASEAN Chief of Army Multilateral Meeting (ACAMM) and the 12th ASEAN Sergeant Majors Annual Meeting (ASMAM) was also organised by Vietnam People’s Army.
The 30th AARM was held for seven days from 05 November 2022 until 11 November 2022. A total of 45 RBLF personnel participated in the 30th AARM and has ranked ninth place by winning four gold, four silver and six bronze.
General Phan Văn Giang, Minister of Defence of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was honoured to officially close the 30th AARM as the hosting country. Also in attendance was Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, the Commander of RBLF and the ASEAN Chiefs of Army.
The next AARM as well as the 24th ACAMM and the 13th ASMAM will be host by The Kingdom of Thailand in 2023.
UPACARA PENUTUP KEJOHANAN MENEMBAK TENTERA DARAT ASEAN KALI KE-30
VIETNAM, JUMAAT, 11 November 2022 – Upacara penutup ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) ke-30 telah diadakan pada hari ini bertempat di National Military Training Centre 4, Republic Socialist Vietnam. Berlangsung secara serentak ialah Mesyuarat ASEAN Chief of Army Multilateral Meeting (ACAMM) yang ke-23 dan Mesyuarat ASEAN Sergeant Majors Annual Meeting (ASMAM) yang ke-12, anjuran yang sama oleh Vietnam People’s Army.
Kejohanan ini telah dianjurkan selama tujuh hari bermula 05 November 2022 hingga 11 November 2022. Seramai 45 anggota TDDB telah menyertai AARM ke-30 dan meraih tempat ke sembilan dengan merangkul empat emas, empat perak dan enam gangsa.
Jeneral Phan Văn Giang, Minister of Defence of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam hadir bagi penutupan secara rasmi AARM ke-30 sebagai negara tuan rumah. Turut hadir diupacara tersebut ialah Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) dan Ketua-ketua Tentera Darat ASEAN.
Kejohanan AARM ke-31 serta ACAMM ke 24 dan ASMAM ke 13 pula akan dianjur oleh negara Thailand bagi tahun 2023.
