RAMPAYOH, LABI, Thursday, 27 October 2022 – Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) and 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, United States Marine Air-Ground Task Force (11th MEU, US MAGTF) conducted two-days share skills exposure of Jungle Operations during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2022 Exercise which was held at Kampong Rampayoh, Mukim Labi from 26 October 2022 until 27 October 2022.
A total of 24 Personnel from 11th MEU, US MAGTF and 30 Personnel from A Company, 2Bn RBLF joined the two-days share skills exposure. The exposure comprises of theory class and practical of Jungle Operation Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) focusing on closed jungle operations which was demonstrated by 2Bn RBLF.
The exposure, among others, aims to maintain the relationship between two armed forces to foster diplomatic ties, enhance mutual understanding and relationship between the armed forces, and showcase the camaraderie and professionalism between two armed forces by sharing knowledge especially on Jungle Operation TTPs.
PENDEDAHAN TENTANG OPERASI HUTAN KEPADA ANGGOTA 11TH MARINE EXPEDITIONARY UNIT, UNITED STATES MARINE AIR-GROUND TASK FORCE
RAMPAYOH, LABI, Khamis, 27 Oktober 2022 – Batalion Kedua Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (2Bn TDDB) dan 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, United States Marine Air-Ground Task Force (11th MEU, USMAGTF) telah berkongsi latihan kemahiran dalam Operasi Hutan selama dua hari semasa Eksesais Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2022 yang diadakan di Kampong Rampayoh, Mukim Labi dari 26 Oktober 2022 hingga 27 Oktober 2022.
Seramai 24 anggota dari 11th MEU, US MAGTF dan 30 anggota dari A Company, 2Bn TDDB telah menyertai latihan kemahiran dalam Operasi Hutan selama dua hari tersebut. Pendedahan kemahiran itu terdiri daripada kelas teori dan praktikal dalam Operasi Hutan yang memfokuskan kepada operasi dalam hutan tertutup yang ditunjukkan oleh 2Bn TDDB.
Pendedahan itu antara lain bertujuan untuk mengekalkan hubungan antara dua hala tentera bagi memupuk hubungan diplomatik dan meningkatkan persefahaman dan hubungan antara kedua-dua angkatan tentera di samping mempamerkan kemesraan dan profesionalisme dengan berkongsi pengetahuan terutama dalam latihan kemahiran dalam Operasi Hutan.
