SERIA, Saturday, 10 September 2022 – Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held a Golf Competition in conjunction with the Diamond Jubilee RBLF Anniversary Celebrations, today at the Panaga Golf Club, Seria. A total of 42 players competed in five categories contested in this competition.
Present as the Guest of Honour (GOH) was Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, Commander of RBLF. Also present were Colonel Azman bin Haji Bangkol, Deputy Commander of RBLF, Field Commander of RBLF, Chief of Staff RBLF, Senior Officers, Officers and personnel of RBLF who participated in the match.
The categories include Division Net A, Division Net B, Division Net C, Nearest to pin, Nearest the Line and Longest Drive. Emerging as the winner of the overall Golf competition as well as the winner of the Longest Drive category was won by Major Haji Mohd Wadiwadera bin Haji Md Wahid. The match ended with a luncheon at the Officer’s Mess, Lumut Camp and the presentation of prizes to the winners by the GOH.
The competition aims to foster sportsmanship and strengthen the interaction between the Officers and personnel of RBLF.
PERLAWANAN GOLF SEMPENA SAMBUTAN ULANG TAHUN JUBLI INTAN TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
SERIA, Sabtu 10 September 2022 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah mengadakan Pertandingan Golf sempena Sambutan Ulang Tahun Jubli Intan TDDB pada hari ini bertempat di Kelab Golf Panaga, Seria. Seramai 42 pemain telah bersaing dalam lima kategori yang dipertandingkan dalam pertandingan ini.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, Pemerintah TDDB. Turut hadir Kolonel Azman bin Haji Bangkol, Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB, Pemerintah Medan TDDB, Ketua Staff TDDB, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan dan anggota-anggota TDDB yang menyertai perlawanan tersebut.
Kategori yang telah dipertandingkan termasuk Division Net A, Division Net B, Division Net C, Nearest to pin, Nearest the Line and Longest Drive. Mejar Haji Mohd Wadiwadera bin Haji Md Wahid muncul sebagai pemenang keseluruhan perlawanan Golf JI TDDB dan juga pemenang bagi kategori Longest Drive. Perlawanan diakhiri dengan jamuan tengah hari di Mes Pegawai, Perkhemahan Lumut serta penyampaian hadiah kepada pemenang oleh tetamu kehormat.
Perlawanan tersebut dihasratkan untuk memupuk semangat kesukanan dan mengeratkan interaksi di antara Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota TDDB.
