BERAKAS GARRISON, Tuesday, 12 July 2022 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) has enlivened the Hari Raya Aidiladha 1443 Hijrah celebration by holding the Korban Ceremony simultaneously at all RBLF Suraus today.
Present as the Guest of Honour (GOH) for the ceremony held at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison was Brigadier General Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, Commander of RBLF. Also present were the Deputy Commander RBLF, Field Commander RBLF, Chief of Staff RBLF, Senior Officers, Officers and personnel of RBLF in Berakas Garrison, Head of Village of Kampong Lambak A and Kampong Lambak Kiri as well as the Asnaf Fakir group. Similar ceremonies that were held at the other RBLF camps were attended by respective Commanding Officers, Officers, personnel of RBLF, as well as the Asnaf Fakir group and invited guests.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by Takbir Hari Raya led by Imam Haji Md Anndy@Rafaie bin Saile, Imam of Surau Al-Faizun. The event continued with the distribution of korban meat to this year’s recipients which was presented by the GOH, followed by the distribution of korban meat by Senior Officers of RBLF to all invited guest and Asnaf Fakir group. The ceremony concluded with refreshments and Asar prayer.
This year, a total of 10 buffaloes were sacrificed by officers and personnel of RBLF. The Korban meat was then distributed equally to a total of 230 people from Asnaf Fakir group, as well as to the officers and personnel of RBLF. The event was held to collectively uphold Islamic teachings and help the less privileged members of the community.
TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI ADAKAN MAJLIS IBADAH KORBAN SEMPENA HARI RAYA AIDILADHA 1443 HIJRAH
BERAKAS GARISON, Selasa, 12 Julai 2022 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah menyemarakkan Sambutan Hari Raya Aidiladha 1443 Hijrah dengan mengadakan Majlis Ibadah Korban secara serentak bertempat di semua surau TDDB pada hari ini.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat bagi majlis yang diadakan di Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garison ialah Brigedier Jeneral Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, Pemerintah TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB, Pemerintah Medan TDDB, Ketua Staf TDDB, Pegawai-Pegawai Kanan TDDB, Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota TDDB Berakas Garison, Ketua Kampong Lambak A, Ketua Kampong Lambak Kiri serta golongan Asnaf Fakir Miskin. Majlis yang sama juga turut diadakan secara serentak di semua perkhemahan TDDB yand turut dihadiri oleh Pegawai-pegawai Pemerintah, Pegawai-pegawai, anggota-anggota perkhemahan masing-masing serta golongan Asnaf Fakir dan tetamu jemputan.
Acara dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah diikuti dengan Takbir Hari Raya yang diketuai oleh Imam Haji Md Anndy@Rafaie bin Saile, Imam Surau Al-Fai’zun. Acara diteruskan dengan pengagihan daging korban kepada penerima korban yang telah disampaikan oleh Tetamu Kehormat majlis diikuti dengan pengagihan daging korban daripada Pegawai-Pegawai Kanan TDDB kepada semua jemputan yang hadir termasuk golongan Asnaf Fakir. Majlis diakhiri dengan menikmati jamuan dan diteruskan dengan sembahyang fardhu Asar berjemaah.
Pada tahun ini, sebanyak 10 ekor kerbau telah dikorbankan oleh Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota TDDB. Daging-daging korban tersebut kemudian dibahagikan dan diagih-agihkan secara sama rata kepada seramai 230 orang dari golongan Asnaf Fakir serta pegawai-pegawai serta anggota-anggota TDDB. Majlis tersebut diadakan untuk tujuan bersama-sama menegakkan Syiar Islam dan membantu golongan masyarakat yang memerlukan.
