PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 16 June 2022 - The Closing Ceremony of the Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked) (CVR (T)) Senior Gunnery Instructor Course and CVR (T) Intermediate Course 2022 session was held today at the Cook House, Support Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (Sp Bn RBLF).
Present as the Guest of Honor (GOH) was Lieutenant Colonel Rudie Asmawi bin Haji Abidin, Commanding Officer, Sp Bn RBLF. Also in attendance were Officers and personnel of Sp Bn RBLF.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the Course participants’ evaluation and a brief on the course conduct delivered by Acting Training Officer, Lieutenant Muhd Afif bin Haji Emran. The ceremony continued with the presentation of certificates for the course participants and the award winners.
A total of eight personnel attended the CVR (T) Senior Gunnery Instructor Course which consisted of personnel from the Armoured Reconnaissance Squadron Sp Bn RBLF (ARS Sp Bn RBLF). The Best Overall Student Award for the course was given to Corporal Muhd Yunus bin Hj Suili.
Whereas a total of 14 personnel from ARS Sp Bn RBLF attended the CVR (T) Intermediate Course 2022. The Best Overall Student Award and Best Armament was given to Sergeant Azahari bin Hj Ahmad and Best Student for Signal was given to Private Amiruddin Rafaiee bin Bakar. While Best Student for Tactics was given to Private Nabil Faez bin Abd Razak and Best Student for Driving & Maintenance (D & M) was Private Safwan bin Hj Seruji. The ceremony continued with the closing remarks from the GOH and concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat.
The aim and objective of the courses is to qualify personnel from ARS Sp Bn RBLF to be instructors of CVR (T) weaponry and at the same time enhance the ability and understanding of its personnel in overall basic field armory knowledge which includes D & M, CVR (T) weapons handling, signals basic and the ability to give out orders in various type of operations that fall upon the duties and responsibilities of ARS Sp Bn RBLF.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS JURULATIH CVR (T) DAN KURSUS PERTENGAHAN CVR (T) SESI 2022
PENANJONG GARISON, Khamis, 16 Jun 2022 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Jurulatih Penggunaan Senjata Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked) (CVR (T)) dan Kursus Pertengahan CVR (T) sesi 2022 telah diadakan hari ini di Rumah Masak, Batalion Bantu Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (Bn Bntu TDDB).
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Leftenan Kolonel Rudie Asmawi bin Haji Abidin, Pegawai Memerintah, Bn Bntu TDDB. Turut hadir ialah pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota Bn Bntu TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah diikuti dengan penilaian peserta Kursus dan taklimat pengendalian kursus yang disampaikan oleh Pemangku Pegawai Latihan, Leftenan Muhd Afif bin Haji Emran. Majlis diteruskan dengan penyampaian sijil kepada peserta kursus dan pemenang anugerah terbaik.
Seramai lapan anggota telah menghadiri Kursus Jurulatih Penggunaan Senjata Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked) CVR (T) terdiri daripada anggota-anggota dari Skuadron Kereta Perisai Peninjau (SKPP), Bn Bantu TDDB. Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan bagi kursus ini telah dianugerahkan kepada Koperal Muhd Yunus bin Hj Suili.
Manakala seramani 14 anggota SKPP Bn Bantu TDDB telah menghadiri Kursus Pertengahan CVR (T) sesi 2022. Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan dan Terbaik Persenjataan disandang oleh Sarjan Azahari bin Hj Ahmad dan Penuntut terbaik bagi Semboyan disandang oleh Soldadu Amiruddin Rafaiee bin Bakar. Manakala, . Penuntut terbaik bagi Taktik disandang oleh Soldadu Nabil Faez bin Abd Razak dan Pelajar Terbaik bagi Driving & Maintenance (D&M) ialah Soldadu Safwan bin Hj Seruji. Majlis kemudiannya diteruskan dengan penutupan rasmi daripada GOH dan diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Selamat.
Matlamat dan objektif kursus ini adalah untuk melayakkan anggota SKPP Bn Bantu TDDB sebagai jurulatih di bidang penggunaan senjata CVR (T) dan juga meningkatkan kebolehan dan kefahaman anggota SKPP di dalam bidang asas keseluruhan yang merangkumi pelajaran (D&M), tembakan senjata CVR (T), asas semboyan dan juga penyampaian perintah mengenai jenis operasi yang dikendalikan merujuk tugas dan tanggungjawab SKPP Bn Bantu TDDB.
