BERAKAS GARRISON, Saturday, 02 April 2022 – The arrival of the blessed month of Ramadhan 1443 Hijrah was glorified with the Terawih Prayers and Tadarus Al-Quran ceremonies held at all suraus in Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) camps.
Present for the ceremony held at Surau Al-Faizun, Berakas Garrison was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Chief of Staff RBLF. Also present was Senior officers, officers and personnel of RBLF. Similar ceremonies were also held simultaneously at all RBLF camps attended by respective officers and personnel.
The event commenced with a mass Isya’ prayer followed by Terawih and Witir Prayers. The event continued with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and the opening of Tadarus Al-Quran ceremony officiated by the Chief of Staff of RBLF. The ceremony proceeded with the recital of Surah Al Baqarah and concluded with Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
As part of religious activities during the holy month of Ramadhan, this annual activity serves to encourage RBLF personnel to complete the recital of 30 Juz of the Al-Quran. This practice is in line with the aspiration of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam for the people in the country to uphold the knowledge and reading skills of Al-Quran as well as to produce an Al-Quran literate nation.
MAJLIS PEMBUKAAN SEMBAHYANG TERAWIH DAN TADARUS AL-QURAN SEMPENA MENYAMBUT BULAN RAMADHAN 1443 HIJRAH
BERAKAS GARISON, Sabtu, 02 April 2022 – Kedatangan bulan Ramadhan yang penuh keberkatan disambut dengan majlis pembukaan sembahyang Terawih dan Tadarus Al-Quran yang diadakan di semua surau dalamperkhemahan Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB).
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat majlis di Surau Al-Faizun, Berakas Garison ialah Leftenan Kolonel Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Ketua Staff TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Pegawai-pegawai kanan, Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan Sembahyang Fardhu Isyak berjemaah, Sembahyang Terawih dan Witir. Majlis diteruskan dengan bacaan Sayyidul Istighfar dan diikuti dengan majlis pelancaran Tadarus Al-Quran yang dirasmikan oleh Ketua Staff TDDB. Majlis diteruskan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Baqarah dan diakhiri dengan Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
Majlis-majlis tersebut adalah salah satu daripada aktiviti-aktiviti keagamaan di bulan Ramadan bagi menggalakkan warga TDDB untuk menamatkan bacaan 30 Juzu’ Kitab suci Al-Quran di bulan Ramadan. Amalan ini bertepatan dengan hasrat titah Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemahiran dalam pembacaan Al-Quran serta melahirkan rakyat dan penduduk yang celik Al-Quran.
