PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 10 March 2022 – The Closing Ceremony and Certificate Presentation for the Drill Instructors Course 2/2021 Series was held at the Theatre Room, School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF). The course which was organised by the Drill Training Wing (DTW), SOI RBLF was an 8-week course that took place from 13 January 2022 until 11 March 2022.
Present as the guest of honour was Major Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Acting Deputy Commanding Officer, SOI RBLF. Also present were the School Sergeant Major, Heads of Training Wings and instructors of DTW.
A total of 20 participants completed the course consisting of 18 personnel from the RBLF and 02 personnel from the Narcotics Control Bureau Unit (NCB). The Overall Best Student and the Best Student in Theory awards was awarded to Private Md Haziq Syazwan bin Md Shaffiee from the Unit Tugas Pengawal Diraja RBLF, whilst the Best Student in Practical award went to PPN1 Muhammad Kahirul Azman Bin Haji Hidup from NCB.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the presentation of certificates to the course participants as well as the presentation of awards. The ceremony continued with the official closing speech by the guest of honour and concluded with the recitation of Closing Doa and a group photo.
The course remains one of the mandatory courses that must be attended by RBLF personnel especially from the RBLF Infantry Battalions from the rank from Private to Sergeant. The course serves to educate and train RBLF personnel in foot weaponry drill, stick drill and squad marching drill as well as to improve their discipline.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS JURULATIH KAWAD SIRI 2/2021
PENANJONG GARISON, Khamis, 10 Mac 2022 – Majlis Penutup dan Penyampaian Sijil bagi Kursus Jurulatih Kawad Siri 2/2021 telah diadakan bertempat di Bilik Teater, Sekolah Infantri, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SI TDDB). Kursus tersebut telah dikendalikan oleh SI TDDB dan berlangsung selama 08 minggu bermula dari 13 Januari 2022 sehingga 11 Mac 2022.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat ialah Mejar Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Pemangku Timbalan Pegawai Pemerintah, SI TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Sekolah Sarjan Mejar, Ketua-Ketua Jurulatih Cawangan serta Jurulatih-Jurulatih Cawangan Latihan Kawad.
Seramai 20 peserta kursus telah menamatkan kursus tersebut yang terdiri daripada 18 anggota daripada TDDB dan 02 anggota daripada Unit Biro Kawalan Narkotik (BKN). Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan dan Penuntut Terbaik Bahagian Teori disandang oleh Soldadu Md Haziq Syazwan bin Md Shaffiee daripada Unit Tugas Pengawal Diraja, TDDB manakala Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Bahagian Amali disandang oleh PPN1 Muhammad Kahirul Azman Bin Haji Hidup daripada BKN.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah diikuti dengan penyampaian sijil kepada peserta kursus dan penyampaian anugerah. Majlis diteruskan dengan penutupan rasmi oleh tetamu kehormat dan diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Penutup dan bergambar ramai.
Kursus tersebut merupakan salah satu kursus mandatori yang wajib dihadiri oleh anggota TDDB khasnya anggota daripada Batalion Infantri TDDB yang berpangkat Soldadu ke peringkat Sarjan. Tujuan Kursus Jurulatih Kawad ini juga adalah mendidik dan melatih anggota TDDB di dalam bidang kawad kaki senjata, kawad tongkat dan kawad skuad drill, serta meningkatkan disiplin anggota yang terlatih.
