BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 04 November 2021 – Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) celebrated its Diamond Jubilee Anniversary today via Video Teleconference (VTC) in accordance with the guidelines from the Ministry of Health.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, the Commander of RBLF. Also present were the Deputy Commander of RBLF, Chief of Staff RBLF, senior officers, officers, Land Force Sergeant Major and RBLF personnel.
The event commenced with the National Anthem
‘Allah Peliharakan Sultan’ followed by a virtual group photo session and the recitation of
Sayyidul Istighfar and
Surah Al-Fatihah. The event continued with the Commander of RBLF’s speech in which he recalled the establishment of RBLF, a pioneering moment that shaped the development of RBLF to this day. He emphasised on defending the unique legacy of the military regimentation as well as its role as a unifying mechanism for a military force. He also shared RBLF’s four operational philosophies namely deterrence, deployability, determination and survivability as well as his 12 Command Philosophies. In his speech, the Commander of RBLF also expressed appreciation for the dedication and achievements of RBLF personnel, including RBLF’s involvement in national operations in preventing and combating the COVID-19 pandemic and involvement in international missions. He also highlighted RBLF’s efforts to expand its capabilities in terms of surveillance, niche capabilities, deployability and doctrine. Moreover, he also stressed the importance of equipment serviceability and vehicle repair that will improve the combat capability of RBLF.
In conjunction with the RBLF’s anniversary this year, videos showcasing the RBLF Diamond Jubilee Anniversary and the School of Infantry, in conjunction with its absorption into RBLF, as well as the launching of RBLF books and magazine namely the Land Force Doctrine Development Handbook 2021, Projek Titian Amal Book 2007-2021 and Semangat Waja Magazine, were shown indicating the recent achievements of RBLF and its direction towards the future since its establishment. The ceremony concluded with the recitation of the pledge and Closing Doa.
TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI MENYAMBUT SAMBUTAN JUBLI INTAN
BERAKAS GARISON, Khamis, 04 November 2021 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) menyambut Sambutan Jubli Intan pada hari ini secara dalam talian mengikut garis panduan yang telah ditetapkan daripada Kementerian Kesihatan.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat majlis ialah Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah TDDB. Turut hadir di majlis berkenaan ialah Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB, Ketua Staf TDDB, Pegawai-pegawai kanan, pegawai-pegawai, Sarjan Mejar TDDB dan anggota-anggota TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan lagu Kebangsaan ‘Allah Peliharakan Sultan’ diikuti dengan sesi bergambar ramai secara maya dan bacaan Sayyidul Istighfar serta Bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah. Majlis diteruskan dengan penyampaian perutusan dari Pemerintah TDDB yang mana beliau menyatakan penubuhan TDDB, iaitu detik perintis yang mencorak perkembangan TDDB hingga ke hari ini. Beliau menekankan mengenai mempertahankan legasi rejimentasi tentera yang unik dan juga sebagai mekanisme perpaduan selaku pasukan tentera. Beliau juga mengongsikan strategi TDDB melalui 4 falsafah operasi iaitu pencegahan, atur gerak dan kesungguhan kepukulan dan juga menyentuh mengenai 12 Falsafah Pemerintahannya. Dalam ucapan beliau, Pemerintah TDDB juga mengucapkan penghargaan atas dedikasi dan pencapaian anggota TDDB, termasuk penglibatan TDDB dalam operasi negara dalam mencegah dan melawan pandemik COVID-19 serta penyertaan misi antarabangsa. Beliau juga mengongsikan usaha TDDB untuk memperkembangluaskan kapabiliti dalam pengawasan, keupayaan khusus, kebolehgunaan dan doktrin. Selain daripada itu, beliau juga menekankan betapa pentingnya
serviceability kelengkapan dan baikpulih kenderaan untuk meningkatkan keupayaan tempur TDDB.
Sempena Sambutan Jubli Intan TDDB pada tahun ini, tayangan klip video khas sempena Sambutan Jubli Intan TDDB, Sekolah Infantri sempena penyerapan unit tersebut di bawah TDDB dan pelancaran buku-buku serta majalah TDDB sempena Jubli Intan TDDB seperti Land Force Doctrine Development Handbook 2021, Buku Projek Titian Amal 2007-2021 dan Majalah Semangat Waja juga dimainkan. Ianya telah menunjukkan pencapaian TDDB semenjak penubuhannya 60 tahun yang lalu serta menunjukkan hala tuju TDDB di masa yang akan datang. Majlis kemudian diakhiri dengan bacaan ikrar dan Doa Penutup.
