REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Tuesday, 16th September 2025 – Major Muhamad Syuaib bin Haji Meraj, Officer Commanding, First Squadron (Field), Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces, has succesfully completed the 86th Battalion Tactic Course (BTC) at the Army Officers' Advanced School, Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Advanced School, SAFTI Military Institute (SAFTI MI), Republic of Singapore, which was conducted from 6th August 2025 to 16th September 2025. The closing event took place at the Auditorium SAF Advanced School, SAFTI MI, officiated by Brigadier General Wong Shi Ming, Chief of Staff-General Staff, Singapore Army.

Present to co-officiate the closing ceremony were Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the RBLF and Yang Berbahagia Lieutenant General Dato' Mohd Sofi bin Md Lepi, Commander of the Eastern Field Command, Malaysian Army.

Throughout his visits, he was accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Field Commander RBLF, Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, RBLF Chief of Staff, and Senior Officers.

The RBLF delegation was led by Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, RBLF Chief of Staff, while the Malaysian Army was headed by Major General Dato' Rashidin Hashimi bin Ab Rashid, Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Training.

MIRI, SARAWAK, Thursday, 11th September 2025 – The opening ceremony for Exercise MALBRU SETIA 17/2025 and Exercise MERTAK BERSATU 15/2025 was held at the Parade Square, Kem Sri Miri, Sarawak, today. The ceremony was co-officiated by Major General Dato Khairul Anwar bin Abd Aziz, Commander of the First Infantry Division Malaysian Army, and Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF). A total of 169 officers and personnel from the First Battalion RBLF are participating in both exercises, scheduled from 8th to 18th September 2025. |
