COMMUNITY RELATIONS ACTIVITY IN CONJUNCTION WITH COOPERATION AFLOAT READINESS AND TRAINING 30/2024 | BENGKURONG, Wednesday, 20th November 2024 – The 30th edition of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2024, held in Brunei Darussalam, continues its series of community outreach initiatives with a charity project at Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam in Kampong Bengkurong. A total of 10 Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) personnel and 10 United States Navy personnel collaborated in a Community Relations (COMREL) efforts, building wooden chairs and assisting with painting projects at the centre.

EXERCISE RINTIS BERSAMA 24/2024 OFFICIALLY CLOSED | REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Wednesday 20th November 2024 – Exercise RINTIS BERSAMA 24/2024 (XRB 24/2024) has officially ended with a closing ceremony held at the Murai Urban Training Facility, Republic of Singapore. The ceremony commenced with a parade inspection, followed by closing remarks by Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Shalleh bin Haji Ismail, Head of Doctrine, Royal Brunei Land Force Headquarters (RBLF HQ). In his speech, he emphasised the importance of XRB as a significant platform for valuable exchange of knowledge, experiences and expertise, while strengthening mutual understanding and further foster the bilateral relationships between both armies. Also in attendance was Colonel Lim Shumin, Commander of the Army Combat Engineer Group, Singapore Army.

THE 32ND ASEAN ARMIES RIFLE MEET OFFICIALLY KICKED OFF | THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, Thursday, 14th November 2024 – The 32nd ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) 2024 has commenced in a ceremony held at the Philippine Army Marksmanship Training Facility in Camp O'Donnell, Capas, Tarlac, the Republic of the Philippines. The ceremony began with a march past of the shooting contingents, followed by the flag hoisting. Officiating the 32nd AARM was Major General Leodevic B. Guinid, Vice Commander of the Philippine Army, who emphasised the significance of AARM as a platform for strengthening regional cooperation during the opening. Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force, together with the other ASEAN Armies representative had attended the ceremony. A total of 44 RBLF personnel participates in the competition, scheduled to take place from 15 to 20 November 2024.
