PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday 10 January 2013 – The Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin made a working visit to Training Institute (TI) RBAF, Penanjong Garrison. Welcoming the RBAF Commander was the Commandant of Training Institute RBAF, Lt Colonel Hasmee bin Haji Abd Wahab. Also present were Deputy Commandant, Lt Kol Ismaon bin Haji Mohd Zainie, senior officers and officers of Training Institute RBAF.

During the visit, the RBAF Commander applauded Training Institute RBAF for its support towards catering the requirements aligned with the new RBAF Career Development Structure. RBAF Commander was also given an insight on Institute development progress geared towards fulfilling Training Institute RBAF mission in human resource capacity building. RBAF Commander also visited the School of Infantry, School of Military Trades, Evolution Centre, Recruit Company and Training Institute Library.

It was also an opportunity to be exploited to harnessed close rapport between RBAF Commander, permanent staff and course participants while attending career courses. RBAF Commander advised the management on upholding Training Institute mission and aspiration to be a centre of excellence. RBAF Commander was accompanied by Director of Logistics, Directorate of Logistics and Head of Inspectorate Unit.
