PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 28 May 2021 – B Company of the Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) together with B Company of the Second Battalion Royal Gurkha Rifles (2RGR) has completed Exercise Gallipoli Arrow at the FIBUA Village, Penanjong Garrison. A total of 58 personnel from both companies participated in the two-day exercise that was held from 26 May until 28 May 2021.
The exercise serves as preparation for the upcoming Exercise Hikmat Bersatu VI which will be held in June. This exercise also aims to strengthen the relationship between 3Bn RBLF and 2RGR as well as enhance the military skills of both units in operating urban missions. At the same time, it gave the opportunity for the personnel involved to exchange experiences, knowledge as well as the level of professionalism.
EKSESAIS GALLIPOLI ARROW DI ANTARA BATALION KETIGA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI DAN SECOND BATTALION ROYAL GURKHA RIFLES
PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 28 Mei 2021 – Kompeni B Batalion Ketiga Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (3Bn TDDB) dan Kompeni B, Second Battalion Royal Gurkha Rifles (2RGR) telah menamatkan Eksais Gallipoli Arrow bertempat di kawasan Perkampungan FIBUA, Penanjong Garison. Seramai 58 anggota dari kedua-dua Kompeni telah menyertai eksesais selama dua hari yang dilaksanakan bermula pada 26 hingga 28 Mei 2021.
Eksesais tersebut dirancang sebagai persiapan untuk Eksesais Hikmat Bersatu VI yang akan diadakan pada bulan Jun nanti. Eksesais ini bertujuan untuk mengeratkan lagi hubungan kukuh di antara 3Bn TDDB dan 2RGR dan meningkatkan kemahiran anggota tentera kedua-dua unit dalam melaksanakan operasi bandar. Pada masa yang sama, eksesais ini juga dapat memberikan peluang kepada anggota-anggota yang terlibat untuk saling bertukar pengalaman, pengetahuan serta tahap profesionalisme antara kedua-dua unit.
