PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 29 July 2022 – Support Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (Sp Bn RBLF) and Combat Service Support RBLF (CSS RBLF) combined with the Medical and Health Services RBLF and Dental Services RBLF held a closing ceremony for the the Battalion Skills At Arms Meet (BnSAAM) today at Gallery 1, Binturan Shooting Range Complex, Penanjong Garrison.
Present as the Guest of Honour (GOH) was Lieutenant Colonel Rudie Asmawi bin Haij Abidin, Commanding Officer of Sp Bn RBLF. Also present were Lieutenant Colonel Azhar bin Matzan, Deputy Commandant of CSS RBLF.
The closing ceremony began with a Pistol Novelty and followed by prize presentations to the winners. Chemical Biological Radiological and Explosive Defence Unit of Sp Bn RBLF (CBRE Sp Bn RBLF) crowned as the winner for the Pistol category, CSS RBLF for the Rifle category and Sp Bn Headquarters Company won the GPMG Team categories, whereas champion for women mixed won by CSS RBLF for Women Pistol Category. Meanwhile, the overall champion goes to CBRE Sp Bn RBLF. The ceremony proceeded with a speech delivered by the GOH to officially close the competition and conlcluded with a Closing Doa.
The aim and objective of the BnSAAM was to select potential shooters who will represent Sp Bn RBLF and CSS RBLF, Medical and Health Services RBLF and Dental Services RBLF for the Land Force Skills At Arms Meet (LFSAAM) which will be held in August 2022. In addition, BnSAAM aimed at improving individual weaponry handling and to hone shooting skills as well as to enhance teamwork and discipline.
MAJLIS PENUTUP PERLAWANAN MENEMBAK BATTALION SKILLS AT ARMS MEET BAGI BATALION BANTU DAN KHIDMAT BANTUAN KOMBAT TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 29 Julai 2022 – Upacara Penutup Perlawanan Menembak Battalion Skills At Arms Meet (BnSAAM) bagi gabungan Batalion Bantu Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (Bn Bantu TDDB) dan Khidmat Bantuan Kombat Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (KBK TDDB) dengan gabungan Khidmat Perubatan dan Kesihatan TDDB serta Khidmat Pergigian TDDB, telah diadakan pada hari ini bertempat di Galleri 1, Kompleks Padang Tembak Binturan, Penanjong Garison.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat pada upacara tersebut ialah Leftenan Kolonel Rudie Asmawi bin Haji Abidin, Pegawai Pemerintah Bn Bantu TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Leftenan Kolonel Azhar bin Matzan, Timbalan Komandan KBK TDDB.
Majlis penutup dimulakan dengan perlawanan Pistol Novelty dan diikuti dengan penyampaian hadiah kepada pemenang-pemenang. Unit Pertahanan Kimia Biologi Radiologi dan Letupan TDDB (KBRL Bn Bantu TDDB) telah dinobatkan sebagai pemenang bagi kategori Pistol, manakala KBK TDDB bagi kategori Rifle dan Kompeni Markas Bn Bantu TDDB bagi kategori GPMG berkumpulan. Gabungan Askar Wanita KBK TDDB telah meraih kemenangan bagi kategori Pistol Wanita dan Johan keseluruhan TDDB telah disandang oleh Unit KBRL Bn Bantu TDDB. Majlis diteruskan dengan ucapan yang disampaikan oleh Tetamu Kehormat bagi menutup pertandingan secara rasmi dan diakhiri dengan Doa Penutup.
Matlamat dan objektif perlawanan BNSAAM tersebut adalah untuk memilih penembak yang berpotensi yang akan mewakili Bn Bantu TDDB dan juga KBK TDDB serta Khidmat Perubatan dan Kesihatan TDDB dan Khidmat Pergigian TDDB bagi Land Force Skills At Arms Meet (LFSAAM) yang akan diadakan pada Ogos 2022 ini. Selain itu, BnSAAM juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemahiran pengendalian senjata individu dan untuk mengasah kemahiran menembak. Majlis telah diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Kesyukuran.
