BANGAR CAMP, Friday, 24 Jun 2022 – First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (1Bn RBLF) held a closing ceremony for the Battalion Skills At Arms Meet (BNSAAM) today at the Bangar Camp Shooting Range Gallery. A total of 80 shooters took part in the competition which was held from 20 June 2022 until 23 June 2022 at the Binturan Firing Range, Penanjong Garrison.
Present as the Guest of Honor (GOH) was Lieutenant Colonel Fakhrul Ammar bin Haji Mohd Isa, Commanding Officer of 1Bn RBLF. Also present were officers and personnel from 1Bn RBLF.
The closing ceremony began with the final group match of carbine category which was followed with the Pistol Novelty Shoot. With the conclusion of both matches, the GOH handed out the prize presentation to the individual and group matches from each category.
A total of four different categories were competed which consisted of Rifle, Carbine, GPMG and Pistol category inclusive of Individual, Team and Section Matches. The winners of the Pistol and Rifle categories goes to 'A' Company 1Bn RBLF categories whereas 'C' Company 1Bn RBLF was the victor in the GPMG category. Admin Company 1Bn RBLF had also clinched the win in the Carbine Category. After consistently performing in all four categories, Command Company 1Bn RBLF secured their position as champions of the 1Bn BnSAAM 2022.
The aim and objective of the BnSAAM was to scout potential shooters who will represent 1Bn RBLF for the Land Force Skills At Arms Meet (LFSAAM) which be held in August 2022. In addition, the meet is aimed at improving individual weapon handling and encouraging teamwork and promote healthy competition. The event ended with a group photo to mark the closing of 1Bn BnSAAM 2022.

MAJLIS PENUTUP PERLAWANAN MENEMBAK BATTALION SKILLS AT ARMS MEET BAGI BATALION PERTAMA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PERKHEMAHAN BANGAR, Jumaat, 24 Jun 2022 – Batalion Pertama Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (1Bn TDDB) telah mengakhiri Perlawanan Battalion Skills At Arms Meet (BNSAAM) pada hari ini bertempat di Galeri Padang Tembak, Perkhemahan Bangar. Seramai 80 penembak telah ikut serta bertanding yang bermula dari 20 Jun 2022 sehingga 23 Jun 2022 bertempat di Padang Tembak Binturan, Penanjong Garison.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat Majlis ialah Leftenan Kolonel Fakhrul Ammar bin Haji Mohd Isa, Pegawai Pemerintah 1Bn TDDB. Turut hadir ialah pegawai-pegawai dan anggota daripada 1Bn TDDB.
Majlis penutup dimulakan dengan perlawanan akhir Kategori Carbine Match 5 diikuti dengan perlawanan Pistol Novelty Shoot. diikuti dengan penyampaian hadiah dari Tetamu Kehormat kepada pemenang-pemenang individu dan berkumpulan bagi setiap perlawanan yang dipertandingkan
Sebanyak 4 kategori telah dipertandingkan iaitu Rifle, Carbine, GPMG dan Pistol termasuk Perlawanan Individu, berpasukan dan seksyen. Keputusan perlawanan menobatkan Kompeni 'A' 1Bn TDDB sebagai juara bagi kategori Pistol dan Rifle. Manakala, Kompeni Pentadbir 1Bn TDDB telah menjadi johan bagi kategori Carbine dan kategori GPMG pula dimenangi oleh Kompeni 'C' 1Bn TDDB. Juara keseluruhan perlawanan sekaligus membawa pulang piala pusingan 1Bn BnSAAM 2022 diraih oleh Kompeni Memerintah 1Bn TDDB.
Antara matlamat dan objektif perlawanan BnSAAM ialah bagi memilih penembak-penembak yang berpotensi untuk mewakili 1Bn TDDB dalam perlawanan Land Force Skills At Arms Meet (LFSAAM) yang dijadualkan akan berlangsung pada bulan Ogos 2022. Di samping itu, ia juga dihasratkan untuk meningkatkan tatacara pengendalian senjata perseorangan dan kemahiran menembak masing-masing serta mengukuhkan lagi semangat kerjasama berpasukan dan menggalakkan persaingan sihat di kalangan unit-unit 1Bn TDDB. Majlis diakhiri dengan bergambar ramai bagi menandakan penutupan 1Bn BnSAAM 2022.
