MUARA, Monday, 04 July 2022 – The Closing Ceremony of the Basic Assault Boat Training 01/22 Series was held today at the hangar of the Combat Boat Squadron, Support Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (CBS, Sp Bn RBLF), located in the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Base.
Present as the Guest of Honour (GOH) was Lieutenant Colonel Rudie Asmawi bin Haji Abidin, Commanding Officer, Sp Bn RBLF. In attendance were the Second-In-Command from First, Second and Third Battalion RBLF, Officers and Senior Ranks of Sp Bn RBLF as well as invited instructors from RBN and the Royal Brunei Malay Reserve Regiment (RBMRR).
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the Course Participants' evaluation and the presentation of certificates and badges by the GOH to the course participants. A total of 24 personnel from all RBLF infantry battalions attended the course which commenced on 24 April 2022 and concluded on 01 July 2022.
The course was the first of its kind to be conducted by Training Wing CBS Sp Bn RBLF; with invited instructors from RBN and RBMRR contributing their knowledge and experiences during the course.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS ASAS BOT TEMPUR SIRI 01/22
MUARA, Isnin, 04 Julai 2022 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Asas Bot Tempur Siri 01/22' telah diadakan hari ini di Hangar Skuadron Bot Tempur, Batalion Bantu Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SBT, Bn Bntu TDDB), bertempat di Pangkalan Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB)
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Leftenan Kolonel Rudie Asmawi bin Haji Abidin, Pegawai Memerintah, Bn Bntu TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Timbalan-timbalan Pegawai Pemerintah Batalion Pertama, Kedua dan KetigaTDDB, Pegawai-pegawai dan PTB Kanan Bn Bntu TDDB serta Jurulatih dari TLDB dan Askar Simpanan Melayu Diraja Brunei (ASMDB).
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah diikuti dengan penilaian Peserta Kursus dan diteruskan dengan penyampaian sijil dan lencana yang disampaikan oleh Tetamu Kehormat kepada peserta kursus. Seramai 24 anggota daripada batalion infantri TDDB telah menghadiri kursus tersebut yang telah bermula pada 24 April 2022 sehingga 01 Julai 2022.
Kursus ini adalah kali pertama seumpamanya dikendalikan oleh Cawangan Latihan SBT, Bn Bntu TDDB; dengan jurulatih undangan daripada TLDB dan ASMDB turut serta dalam menyumbangkan ilmu dan pengalaman masing-masing semasa kursus tersebut.
