ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE PARTICIPATES IN THE SECOND VIRTUAL PACIFIC AMPHIBIOUS LEADERS' SYMPOSIUM 2021


BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 07 October 2021 – Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) participated in the second Pacific Amphibious Leaders Symposium 2021 (PALS-21.2) hosted virtually by the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Forces, Pacific at RBLF Headquarters and Second Battalion RBLF Headquarters (2Bn RBLF HQ). A total of 23 countries participated in the symposium. 

Representing RBLF in the symposium were Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammad Ezan Sazali bin Haji Osman, Head of Doctrine RBLF and Major Haji Nafisal @ Dedy bin Hj Salim, Second-in-Command, 2Bn RBLF. 

The symposium started with a keynote address from General David Berger, Commandant, USMC followed by the presentation of the first two topics titled 'United States Marine Corps Force Design' and 'Expeditionary Advanced Basing Operations' which was both presented by Colonel Jon Dunne, Director, Marine Corps Integration Division, USMC Combat Development & Integration, Headquarters USMC. The third topic titled 'Intermediate Force Capabilities' was presented by Colonel Wendell B. Leimbach Jr., Director, Joint Intermediate Force Capabilities Office, USMC.

The symposium provided the opportunity to promote shared awareness, increase cooperation and enhance interoperability amongst the participating Indo-Pacific countries. It also allows participating countries to share their approach to challenges in the maritime domain and highlighted the Marine Corps's focus on their vision for Force Design 2030 as well as their role as a regional amphibious force in readiness. The symposium concluded with closing remarks from Lieutenant General Steven R. Rudder, Commanding General of the United States Marine Corps Force, Pacific. 


TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI MENYERTAI SIMPOSIUM PACIFIC AMPHIBIOUS LEADERS' 2021 KALI KE-2 SECARA ATAS TALIAN

BERAKAS GARISON, Khamis, 07 Oktober 2021 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah menyertai Pacific Amphibious Leaders Symposium 2021 kali ke-2 (PALS-21.2) secara talian yang dihoskan oleh United States Marine Corps (USMC) Force, Pacific bertempat di Markas TDDB dan Markas Batalion Kedua TDDB. Sebanyak 23 buah negara telah ikut serta dalam simposium tersebut. 

Hadir selaku wakil TDDB di Simposium ini ialah Leftenan Kolonel Haji Mohammad Ezan Sazali bin Haji Osman, Ketua Doktrin TDDB dan Mejar Haji Nafisal @ Dedy bin Haji Salim, Timbalan Pegawai Pemerintah Batalion Kedua TDDB.  

Simposium ini dimulakan dengan kata alu-aluan dari Jeneral David Berger, Commandant, USMC dan seterusnya diikuti dengan pembentangan oleh Kolonel Jon Dunne, Director, Marine Corps Integration Division, USMC Combat Development & Integration, Headquarters USMC, bagi dua topik pertama iaitu 'United States Marine Corps Force Design' dan 'Expeditionary Advanced Basing Operations'. Seterusnya diikuti dengan pembentangan topik ke tiga bertajuk 'Intermediate Force Capabilities' yang telah dibentangkan oleh Colonel Wendell B. Leimbach Jr., Director, Joint Intermediate Force Capabilities Office, USMC.

Simposium ini memberikan peluang untuk meningkatkan kesedaran dan kerjasama serta membincangkan sambil berkongsi idea di antara negara Indo-Pacific mengenai pengalaman mereka terhadap cabaran maritime domain dan menyampaikan peranan USMC sebagai regional amphibious force in readiness dan visi bagi Force Design 2030. Persidangan kemudian diakhiri dengan ucapan penutup daripada Leftenan Jeneral Steven R. Rudder, Commanding General USMC, Pacific.
